Secret Pass Gold Project
— Arizona, USA
Project Summary
Investment Highlights
Exploration Status
Project Summary
- Strategic Location: The licence area covers 281 hectares comprised of 67 Ha of BLM claims and 214 Ha of Arizona State mineral claims located 29 km west of Kingman, Arizona, and just 4 km south of Highway 40.
- 100% Ownership: Northern Lights acquired 100% ownership of the property in November 2019, and the project carries no production royalties.
- Prolific District: The site is situated 15 km north of the historic Oatman Gold Mining district, which produced over 2 million ounces of gold between 1892 and 1940 at an average grade of >15 g/t.
- Geological Setting: The property hosts epithermal gold mineralization controlled by steeply dipping regional faults, specifically the Union Pass and Frisco Mine Faults, within Precambrian metamorphic rocks and Tertiary volcanics.
Investment Highlights
- Historical drilling (approx. 14,000 meters across 126 holes) identified intersections up to 13.6 g/t Au over 36m, with internal high-grade zones exceeding 30-45 g/t Au.
- Higher gold prices have reignited interest in the Oatman district, evidenced by the active restart of operations at the nearby Gold Road Mine and Mako Mining’s Moss Mine in 2025.
- Northern Lights’ 2021 drill program confirmed wide zones of mineralization starting from the surface. Highlights include Hole TC21-02 (1.61 g/t Au over 66.15m, including 10.07 g/t Au over 7.41m) and Hole TC21-04 (0.95 g/t Au over the entire 103m length of the hole).
- Drilling has confirmed mineralization extending from surface to approximately 80 meters depth, which remains open both at depth and along strike.
Exploration Status
- Significant Upside: Despite over 20 historic workings identified on the property, modern exploration has tested only approximately 10% of the project area.
- Untested Structures: Approximately 10 km of the two major regional faults (Union Pass and Frisco Mine) have never been drilled.
- Recent Activity: In 2021, the Company completed Phase 1 drilling (4 holes totaling ~610 meters) at the Tin Cup prospect to validate historical data and test geological models.
- Target Rich Environment: Exploration has identified numerous targets via geophysics, mapping, and surface sampling, with geology and mineralization showing strong analogies to the detachment-related gold potential of the Black Mountain Range.
