Medicine Springs Project

Northern Lights is earning a 100% interest in the Medicine Springs Project (“Medicine Springs” or the “Project”) located in Elko County Nevada.

Medicine Springs is an advanced exploration project with extensive historic drilling and many significant silver-zinc-lead intercepts. The zone of mineralization is oxidized to depths up to a depth of 180 meters and is open to expansion in all directions.  A total of 125 holes have been drilled (5,440 meters , avg depth 43 meters) with significant intercepts including silver grades of 182 g/t over 7.6 meters and high combined zinc plus lead grades of over 17% over 4.6 meters.

Historical exploration work has identified a mineralized footprint that extends 3.4 km in strike and approximately up to 1.4 km in width.

Geophysical survey work completed in 2018 has identified six key targets below historic workings and drilling depths for exploration. Together with the results of the geochemical survey completed in November 2018 (results pending), Northern Lights will finalize the exploration drilling program for Medicine Springs in 2019.

A key focus for the 2019 exploration program at Medicine Springs is to identify a large high grade sulfide zinc/lead/silver deposit in carbonate replacement setting below the area of shallow historic workings.

The Hermosa/Taylor deposit, developed by Arizona Mining Inc. prior to the acquisition by South32 in 2018,  has been identified as the geological target for the Medicine Springs Project. Hermosa/Taylor is a carbonate replacement high grade zinc deposit (101 million tonnes M&I resources @ 10.4% Zn equiv) acquired by South32 through the acquisition of Arizona Mining Inc. in August 2018 at total valuation of $1.9 billion. There are a number of strong geological similarities between Medicine Springs and Hermosa Taylor including:

• Mineralization hosted by same age Permian carbonate units 
• Similar very deep oxidation in excess of 150m
• Stratiform manto replacements cut by later veins/breccias
• Oxidized minerals dominated by smithsonite & cerrusite
• Intense sericite-silica-carbonate alteration
• Trace element geochemistry similar As, Sb, Ba, Ag, Hg, Mn
• The mineralized footprint is comparable in size

Northern Lights completed an extensive geological field work campaign during 2018 including; Completion of NI43-101 technical report; Creation of GIS database that includes all historical exploration data; Detailed geological mapping and surface sampling; Aeromagnetic survey over entire license area; 2D inversion and reinterpretation of historical CSAMT geophysical survey; Geochemical soil survey over entire license area utilizing Ionic leach analysis.

The 2019 exploration program for Medicine Springs includes 3,000 – 5,000 meters of drilling to test the model for an economic sulfide carbonate replacement deposit and further definition and expansion of the current zone of oxide mineralization.
